Necessities that you should bring:

Sun cream.
Hat
Small bag to carry your water during the expedition.

For camping we have two options for you:
The first option: is that camping will be out side in the desert, every night we camp in different places under the stars.
The second option: is to camp at our main campsite in the middle of the desert, so the tour starts from the camp every morning and finishes in the camp. The obvious difference between the two are that you have the comfort of showers, toilets etc in the second option.

In our hiking programs we offer climbing to the following mountains:

Rakabet Canyon :

it is 2 km due east of the Rum village , it links Jebel Um Ishrin to Jebel Ansranieh , it is the shortest way to cross from Rum village to Wadi Um Ishrin. It is the easiest of climbing expeditions that we offer and takes approximately 2 hours to cross.

Jebel BURDAH :

this mountain is denoted by the number 5 on the Wadi Rum map found on the website. Climbing up to the bridge and back down will take approximately two and half hours. This is very safe climb which is not difficult but in several places you need to use your hands, but the most difficult areas occurs just as you arrive at the bridge, but for safety reasons we bring rope to make inexperienced climbers feel safer. It is important that that you follow behind the guide and listen to his advice, any deviation on this route should only be done after consultation with the tour guide. From the top of this mountain you will be able to see the immense landscape that surrounds you looking far into the north east corners of the Rum desert.

Jebel AL HASH:

this mountain is located in AL FORAH area, close to where the Jordanian border intersects the Saudi Arabian border. This again is a very easy climb for anyone who is inexperienced or who would like a simple hike. We will take you up from the east side of the mountain (Um Snenah) Valley, and go through the valet to the top. Then we will take you down by a different route from the North West side of the mountain by Wadi Nuqra in total taking approximately 5 hours. This is probably the most beautiful mountain in Wadi Rum to scramble on, because as you arrive at the highest point which will 1700m above sea level you will sea all the different colour that encapsulate the Wadi Rum especially in a northerly direction.

Jebel UM ADAMI
The location of Jebel UM ADAMI is exactly at the border between Jordan and Saudi Arabia. The intersection of the border cuts the mountain into two halves, but we are lucky to have the summit on our side. The summit is a staggering 1800 m above sea level and this is the highest point in the whole of Jordan. We will hike up to the top from the northeast side, and from there you will be able to sea the amazing Saudi Arabian desert in the horizon. If the sky is clear the clear blue waters of the Read Sea (Aqaba) can also be seen. Only a few guides will actually do this hike due to the rich number of wide life that inhabit this mountain especially foxes, rabbets and gazelles. This is most break taking view you can have and you will feel a sense of achievement and accomplishment by the time you reach the summit and allow your eyes to feast on the magnificent landscape.
